Spring is on its way and so is Jenzabar. We will be at two of higher education’s most exciting events in March and April discussing how to improve and simplify the new student experience.

ACE’s Annual Meeting

First up is ACE2019 – the American Council on Education’s 101st Annual Meeting  on March 9-12 in Philadelphia, PA, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.

ACE’s Annual Meeting is the country’s most distinguished higher education event, attracting nearly 2,000 university and college presidents and senior executives.  At ACE2019 higher education leaders from all institutional types gather to explore fresh perspectives for practical solutions on campus, network with top leaders across all higher education sectors, and bring data-driven insights back to campus.

If you are attending ACE2019 plan to attend the session on The New Student is Taking Control – Are You Ready? scheduled for Sunday, March 10 at 9:45 AM. This session will be a lively and informative panel discussion on the shift in the way students consume higher education. The panel will share actionable ideas to enhance student engagement on your campus and provide details on how they are keeping up with the “new student”. Panel participants include Jon Connolly, president Sussex County Community College, Scott Jaschik, CEO and Editor of Inside Higher Ed and Maura Devlin, Deputy Chief Learning Officer, Bay Path University.

 AACRAO Annual Meeting

Next, we head to Los Angeles, California for the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers 105th AACRAO Annual Meeting from March 31 to April 3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This event  convenes  2,000 higher education professionals from around the world as they  work to address the issues facing today’s campuses, share goals and guidelines for meeting those challenges, and provide a forum for learning and sharing experiences.

If you plan to be at AACRAO’s Annual Meeting make sure to stop by our booth #319 to meet the Jenzabar team and take in the session on Engaging with the New Student – Are You Ready? on Monday, April 1 at 9:15 AM.

This engaging session addresses the digital transformation in higher education. It will explore the technology requirements to power the new student’s experience in order to meet their evolving needs and enable you to be agile, connected, engaged and responsive. A panel of higher education leaders will explain how their campus is supporting student engagement throughout the student experience from recruitment to degree completion. Panel participants include Patty Pitts, Director of Academic Programs at Crown College, Lacey Satterfield, Director of Admissions at Reinhardt University and Melanie Common, Senior Product Manager at Jenzabar

We are excited to be part of these inspiring events and hope to meet you there!  Stop by to see us and learn how Jenzabar One’s mobile student engagement tools, integrated platform and simplified user interface, will enable you to deliver modern campus services that increase engagement and make it easier for the new student to reach their highest potential.CTA_page_Resources_2019
